Isolated at 78 degrees north

Afther the lockdown, here in Longyearbyen, Friday morning 13th of Marc, the town hasn’t been the same since. We are vulnerable here at 78 degrees, we have now capacity for hospital treatment, if someone get virus and come really ill. The pandemic has made people unemployed and many are struggling financially. Therefore we have to stand together, supported and helped each other, for almost a whole year now. The picture is for me a symbol for this warm, that radiates from this isolated small society, surrounded by harsh and cold nature, almost on the north pole.
